Hello there! Remnants of Shadow is a realistic wolf role-play forum for moderate-advanced-expert roleplayers(13+ years of age). We are coming up on five years of us all being together now and we just cannot wait to pull in new and exciting members (not to mention all of your wonderful characters)!
At Remnants, we are always friendly and welcoming. Plus, we are active every day! We do have an average word post minimum of 300. What does that mean? Well, we know that sometimes coming up with responses can be difficult at times, and if you can usually post 300+ words than we don't mind if you write a little less sometimes. However, we encourage you to challenge yourself! But if you can't yet manage the word average minimum, that's okay! We have a 'Training Grounds' for you to utilize mini-RPG's to improve writing skills(other members join in to help). It is also a useful tool to get those creative juices flowing!

Home to wolves from several broken packs, this pack is just starting to get their bearings and bond with one another.
Quall
With a deep rooted history in psychopathic behavior, Quall also comes from a variety of backgrounds. However the wolves here are not trying to mend their 'broken hearts', instead they succumb to the path of loathing.
Lakagigar
A military-like pack of highly trained assassin's border-lining between vigilantes and murderers.
Velo Esente: An extended pack of nomads going great distances to find their perfect home.
Shi
An isolated pack cradling a disease and a dark secret.
Inferno
A human city that has been abandoned for over half a century is now overrun by animals that now flock to the streets. But things are not like the natural world in this concrete jungle. Mountain lions and bears protect the top of the food chain, and regulate the streets the way they see fit... With wolves forced to cower at the bottom of the food hierarchy. (a variety of animals allowed)
Rumsen-Neshoba
A tribe a few miles outside of Inferno there exists one of the last tribes of humankind. They have managed to survive by living with their wolf counterparts. But their peace is often broken by the devious city... (human characters allowed)
