DESCRIPTION
if you're expecting a pretty much bullshit description, well, you'd be right.
start with the build, and you see a pretty heavy-set cat in front of you. there's a good deal of muscle under that outer-coat of fur, and you're wondering, how is this a female, this doesn't make much sense. stop those comments and remember that girls can be just as brawny as guys, and thymebone is no exception to this. there's length in her limbs, too, and she's pretty damn large. she couldn't be considered as a lithe girl, no matter how hard you attempt to call her that. she'll always be large in size, even if she's starving, even if her muscle is deteriorating- you just can't shave down her big bones.
next on the agenda is her pelt, both colour and texture. the length is almost ridiculous, though it.. managed to happen somehow. her parents, they both had long fur like herself, and it happened out in her favor. with the colours, there's this light, smokey grey tone that covers most of the pelt, broken up with some distinctive markings of white on the maw, underside, and tail. a brownish spot on her nose sets apart a different colour from the rest of her body. tabby stripes, with a ticked darker tone, are prominent on her face, and less on the rest of her body.
minimal features are a-go, and we start off with her ears. they seem perfectly fine, except for the fact that the left one is practically non-existant. shredded to nothing more than a small nub, she has hearing problems in that ear, and is also prominent to infections there. her eyes, a sharp, mostly-green hazel, are almost her defining feature, if her size and shredded ear weren't enough to set her apart from a crowd. her tail is of average length, and with a great deal of long fur on it. basically, thymebone is pretty enough, if you're only looking at her fur. otherwise, she looks something like a monster.

PERSONALITY

unemotional . bitter . sharp . liar . bossy . short-tempered
positive
there are few words that describe what she is, and positive just.. doesn't, in general. she has a pessimistic view, high disinterest in everything around her, and isn't some cat that you can just tell all your issues to. well- you can, but you're not going to be getting a nice return conversation.
starting off with her being independent, she really doesn't like relying on anyone, even her deputy and medicine cat. if she could choose the traditions, she would work as a solo leader, sneering at anyone that dare opposes her rightful position. she definitely doesn't need a mate or friends, either- what's the point in having things that will just go against you? thymebone has been in the position of leader who tens of moons, and she isn't going to give it up to just anyone, you know.
next, we have her being quite the clever girl, coming up with certain ideas that seem on the spot, when in actuality, they were probably bouncing around in her head for a moon or so. witty as can be, she enjoys showing her intelligence off, and it is in these attempts of arrogance that we see what she was like before becoming a leader: a show-off.
patient can be considered a good trait for her to have, as everything else she has isn't going so well. this was probably the main reason why she was chosen to become the deputy, and why she actually was able to have an apprentice before then. that one thing the leader sees in a cat before they choose them to be deputy- in this case, it was this skill.
being resilient as can be, thymebone will immediately rebound from something that can rattle her. nothing, especially death, can rattle her foundation that much, and she will continue on and act like nothing ever happened. others call her heartless for not caring, though she's just trying to show a strong front for her clan. this is how she shows it, with not giving a shit.
confidence is key with being a leader, and well, damn, thymebone would be lost without it. anxiety rarely ever comes across the molly, and insecurities are almost unheard of from her. she thinks that she's all that, but it isn't in an arrogant way- at least, not any longer.
lastly, she's pretty analytical, trying to figure out all angles of an issue before diving head-first into it. with a smirk on her maw, she'll let the orders escape her mouth, and she will make sure that they are orders, not suggestions. she can be quite cold during these periods of analyzing a situation, though in due time, she'll warm up to just a freezing temperature.

unemotional beings such as thymebone shouldn't be alive in a normal world, because we all know that they end up as asshats. she doesn't care what you think, she won't give a reaction to it. most of her emotions are ranged between anger and disinterest, rarely ever reaching happiness or sorrow. she keeps a pokerface of sorts, and that's really it.
however, one of her main reactions to situations are bitter ones, topped with sharp tones of voice. it's either the fact that she doesn't give two shits, or she's really not liking anyone around her well enough to at least be somewhat polite. snarky as can be, she will not hesitate to put someone on a pedestal and speak bitterly of them. who care what emotions they have, because thymebone certainly doesn't.
a compulsive liar, she only chooses the right moments to set the false statements into motions. this leads her into being quite untrustworthy, as well as being a flat-out bitch. okay, so that's a bit out there, but we already know how much of a bitch she is, so we can come to this conclusion.
she's bossy and crude, never allowing anyone to let their own say matter. she will not hesitate to order around her warriors, to snap at her deputy, or even judge any and all apprentices and kits that are laying around the camp. her short temper makes her pretty unpopular with the warriors, and she tries so hard to hide her anger behind gritted teeth, but we all know how that doesn't work.

HISTORY
Go and fix your make up, girl, it’s just a break up
Run and hide your crazy and start actin’ like a lady
'Cause I raised you better, gotta keep it together
Even when you fall apart
But this ain’t my mama’s broken heart
a leader is not made, no; a leader is born into existence. you have to fight your way to the top, and it comes so naturally to some, it's obvious that they need to be the ones in charge. there was this arrangement about ninety-one moons ago, and even with the parents long dead now, they still hold value in this tale. a long-haired grey tabby molly, heatherclaw, was paired off with the grey-brown tabby tom named voletail, and it was obvious that there was nothing there that concerned love or romance. she became pregnant with kits, though, and it would be proven that her spawn would prove superior to her own expectations, as the two mollies that came into the world would take it by the reins. thymekit and teaselkit existed, and there was no turning back from that moment.
Run and hide your crazy and start actin’ like a lady
as her parents were practically forced to have children, her mom and dad actually hated her existence, though she would only give them a smile and she had them wrapped around her paw. you need to be a lady, heatherclaw would say to her quite sharply, and thymekit was only waving her tail with a positive expression, and then mention something about how teaselkit was being a dick, or something like that. her attention would be forcefully shifted to her sibling, and she loved it. it almost seemed impossible, but those six moons as a kit were probably the actual time that she learned about manipulation, about being a jackass, than any other time. except apprentice. that was a whole different story.
'Cause I raised you better, gotta keep it together
being an apprentice was ridiculous in her eyes, and with gritted teeth, she sat there as she was stripped of being thymekit, and was then known as thymepath. her mentor, well, she was blessed with a strong mentor by the name of stonejaw, who, by chance, had a twisted jaw. there were times in which she wanted nothing to do with the tomcat, though he still drilled into her skull about how important every fucking thing was in this time of her life. the leader was watching, the other warriors were watching, her family was awaiting the great news of, yes, she's a fantastic apprentice.
with a shut mouth and newly flamed attitude, she brought her confidence up in this time period, as well as her bossiness. the new apprentices wouldn't compare to her, no, they were all pathetic and worthless. they didn't satisfy her expectations of friends, and the only one that was even partially close to her was, unfortunately, teaselpath, her sister. whipping her into shape along herself was a difficulty, though, they both ended up closer this way. even when her sister shredded her ear, thymepath wasn't even close to upset- she was thrilled by how much her sister was learning. when they both became warriors, it was almost as though there was a break, and this friendship- it would be gone quite fast.

Even when you fall apart
the time of becoming a warrior is a sacred occasion, right? then why was everything so lax, especially since it was thymepath getting her warrior name. no matter, as it all went according to plan, and she was named thymefang, in order of her spectacular fighting skills, and her sister was named teaselclaw. side by side, the grey tabby warriors stood vigil, and thyme took it quite seriously. she was almost made of stone, and her heart was still- not that it was true. she was very much alive.
fast forward to about six moons down the line, and there's this apprentice that thymefang received: lionpath. it was during this time that her lack of fucks to give gradually increased, and she was focused upon making this apprentice, this lax apprentice, work for his keep. with a smirk on her maw, and baring her teeth at the kid, she managed to work him into shape, work him into the warrior known as lionpelt. he became quite an impressive tom, and there was actually a flicker of admiration toward the tom- from teaselclaw, however.
it would be known to the clan that teaselclaw and lionpelt become mates, but as more of a forced, just-for-strong-kits type of thing. to thymefang, it was more of a betrayal from her sister and previous apprentice, though there was no say in the matter anyway. so, when the kits of gannetkit and pidgeonkit came into the world, thyme was angered, and didn't want them to exist.
she tried to hard to ignore those kits, but when gannetpath became her apprentice, there was a bitter staredown from the aunt to niece, and there was a loathing relationship that formed between them. sure, thymefang did her duty as a warrior, but she wasn't enjoying this any more than her apprentice was. a couple warning bites, several scratches, and a shredded tail later, there was a bond of mutual respect, and so gannetpath became gannetstorm, while pidgeonpath was pidgeonfoot. by the time all of this was over, thymefang recently turned forty-two moons, and she would be setting forth into a different type of setting: one of leadership.

But this ain’t my mama’s broken heart
it didn't take long before there was a ball of anger in thymefang's belly, and she was wondering, why wasn't she being forced to mate and have kits? you know, to keep the system going? in the eyes of her leader, though, there was something that he liked, and didn't want her to be stuck in the nursery suckling kits she didn't want. call it a form of affection, and you'd be wrong, as it was more of a respect. she trained good warriors, not made them, in his eyes. so, when the previous deputy fell to a cat of another clan, he chose the new deputy with a glint in his eyes: thymefang.
she was surprised, astonished, even, as she didn't expect this to ever happen to her. well, she might've thought about it at one point, but that didn't matter much. it was happening to her, and she accepted the position with a sneer in her sister's direction. they grew apart, and would barely utter a word to one another at this point, so she pretended to not see the expression on teaselclaw's face as she went forward to accept the position.
there were about fifteen more moons before the leader himself passed away, losing his fourth life while fighting in bloodshed. thymefang moved from deputy to leader, receiving three more lives and became thymebone of pineclan. this was when she was fifty-nine moons, and since then, she has gone through a deputy already; her first died due to an unexpected fox, lurking around the territory for a little snack to get. the next deputy is her current one, and thymebone is hoping that this one will stay for a little while longer. now she's an old bat that will not give up her position.
